Six months Dissertation and others Skill Development Training Programs

Uttarakhand Council for Biotechnology conducts training programs in the thrust area of biotechnology. These training programs are being organised under the leadership of the Director of the council. Main objective of such training is to encourage the students of state towards biotech education and research. Duration of these training programs is 30 / 45 to 90 days for graduates / post graduates students and 180 days (dissertation program) only for post graduates students of biotechnology / microbiology / allied sciences. During the training period, selected students do have been completing their respective research works in the advanced research laboratories of the council. During training, trainee would get training in the fields of Plant Tissue Culture, Molecular Biology & Genetic Engineering; Environmental Biotechnology Laboratory; Hydroponics & Soilless Agriculture and Bioinformatics.
