Prof. (Dr.) Sanjay Kumar born on 05 August 1970. He completed his graduation and post graduation degree from CCSHAU, Hisar, Haryana. He completed his Ph.D. degree in the year 2002. He is working on the
post of Director, Uttarakhand Council for Biotechnology, Haldi, Pantnagar and Institute of Biotechnology, Patwadangar, Ministry of Agriculture, Govt. of Uttarakhand.

Dr. Sanjay is recipient of International Fellowship Awarded by Ministry of External Affairs, Israel, and recipient of World Bank Grant for visit to Romania. He is bestowed with Outstanding Achievement Award in International Conference at Bangkok. He is Fellow of Indian Society of Animal Production and Management, Fellow of Association of Animal Scientists, Fellow of Society for Scientific Development in Agriculture
and Technology. He is Fellow of National Academy of Veterinary Nutrition and Animal Welfare. Recipient of S. Radhakrishnan Best University Teacher Award, National Award by Government of India, V.S.Upadhaya Award, Red Cross Society Award by Governor of Uttarakhand, Excellence Award by Animal Husbandry Minister, Govt. of Uttar Pradesh and 22 such prestigious awards from different societies and organizations. Authored 06 books and published 64 research papers in journals of international repute. Developed 05 technologies and trained 6054 farmers at institute level and farmer’s door step level. He is member of 13 professional societies. He is dedicated teacher, researcher, extension worker and good administrator.
