Bhauwala (Bhagwanpur) Campus, Dehradun
Uttarakhand Biotechnology Council’s Bhauwala (Bhagwanpur), Dehradun campus is established in five acres of land. This complex is currently surrounded by industrial and modern educational institutions of the state. This campus is under construction. The campus will play an important role in imparting quality education in Bio-Sciences and Technology and in connecting academia with industry in future. This centre is committed to develop the state by providing the training and developing the skills among the youth of the state along with the exchange of various techniques related to bio-science and technology. This campus will provide a platform to the talented students of the state and motivate and encourage them to work prominently in the relevant field of Biotechnology.
Natural Products Research Laboratory
In this campus scientists are working on the extraction, isolation and characterization of the active compound from the flora of Himalayan region and their biochemical studies as well as their potential to be used in other economically beneficial areas. Also working on different herbal formulations and products and their synergistic effects in different diseases and disorders.
